What to do at Rock Bottom Ranch

Farm Tours

Beginning November 1st, 2018, Farm Tours will be held on Fridays at 11AM through February 28, 2019. Join Rock Bottom Ranch staff and educators to explore the Ranch, animal paddocks, hoop houses, and gardens while learning the science behind our vegetable production and livestock rotational grazing system. Tours are appropriate for all ages and provide opportunities to interact with our livestock and learn where your food comes from! $5 /
$10 per family and free for members. Click here for more information.

Nature Trail

Explore our nature trail and grounds including beautiful vistas, verdant wetlands, cottonwood galleries, and more. You may see heron, red-winged blackbirds, elk, mule deer, and more!

Enjoy Rock Bottom Ranch's myriad picnic spots. We are located adjacent to the Rio Grande Trail halfway between Basalt and Carbondale, so bike on over and pay us a visit.

Our pasture-lands are home to a number of creatures. Meet our large black hogs, sheep, donkeys, or horses, depending on the season.
